Random Pics from this Week

Some how Sophia fixed my little handheld camera..don't ask me how. She was asking to play with it and I said she could and then the next thing you know it is working again!! So with all that said I was able to take a few pictures this week that I thought were pretty cute.

My friend Kandis and I took the girls to a new jump place in Newnan called Monkey Joes. It was a lot of fun and it was also very clean! I slipped a few times myself they had the plastic so clean and shiny. They also cater to the parents a lot they had really plush black chairs out, wifi connection, flat screen TV and a couple of massage chairs! :) They also had a really good concession stand complete with pizza and hot dogs. We ended up staying for about three hours with the girls eating lunch there as well.

Here is Sophia doing her new favorite thing going down slides on her belly. She does this at the park playground as well. :)

The girls even got to meet Monkey Joe while we were there. As you can see they both loved him!

Sophia and I went to playgroup on Wed. and the girls new favorite thing to do is to dress up. Here is Alicia aka Sleeping Beauty and Sophia aka Snow White. Taylor showed up later and she was Cinderella. :)

Hopefully I will be able to take more pictures now that Sophia has fixed my camera. :)

Eat Pray Love

Okay so I'm totally late on the bandwagon...but I have just discovered Eat Pray Love! It is such a fabulous book and I'm only 20 pages in. To be honest I didn't really want to read it until I saw the movie trailer which is below.

I guess I never really wanted to read it before because of all the hype...I dunno I guess I'm one of these that if Oprah or Ebert like something I'm not having any of it. :) Oprah was actually right this time and this book is fab!

The movie trailer actually gives a pretty good synopsis of the book. I've tried writing one but I can't seem to write what I want to say...if that makes any sense. :) So here you go and I do recommend the book so far it is a good read.

Friends

I took Sophia to her friend Reagan's birthday party recently. We all had a lot of fun but it was especially great because I got to see my good friend Emorie. She is the one that we meet in Opelika sometimes to see. I have to say that I think Emorie and Kandis are the two greatest friends I could have. I don't ever have to wonder what they think of me but I know that they are always there for me and I am there for them. We have been through a lot together most of it thankfully has just been good fun! :) It is fun to see our girls playing together and thinking back to when we met and were just thinking about having babies.

Thank you girls for being my friends! :)
*begin playing golden girls theme song* lol

Alicia's Birthday Party

Back in February we also went to our good friends the Nuno's house for their little girls birthday. Alicia was turning three and she had a princess party. It was all Sophia could talk about for weeks! She even had her princess dress picked out for the event. :) We all had a good time catching up with friends we hadn't seen in awhile, the food was delicious, and the kids loved the crafts they had set out.

Here is the finished product of Sophia making a princess crown...don't you dare call her princess Sophia though she will get mad and tell you "I not a princess I Sophia" :)

The girls playing outside before we ate..from L to R Taylor, Kirsten, Alicia, Delaney (pushing) and Sophia (chasing) :)

The Three Amigos...they have been friends since about 18 months old. :)

Happy Birthday Alicia!! Isn't the cake cute! Karen was nice enough to give Sophia the Snow White figure. :)

The Nuno's also hired Phil to take some pictures at the party and also before the party. They wanted several family photos done with Alicia and her Great Grandparents. I think they turned out really good so here are a couple of my favorites.

Playing Catch Up

So I'm finally playing catch up! Some of you have already heard about these trips or events but you can read about them again. :)

During winter break Kandis and I took the girls to go and see our really good friend Emorie in Opelika. We always love getting together with her and her two girls Issy and Julianna. We had so much fun visiting and of course we went to our frequent haunt Chic fil a. It is an easy place to go because the girls are entertained, the food is good and we can trap them in the play area long enough to have a conversation. :) We can't wait to see them again!!

This is Sophia, Isszy and Reagan waiting (begging really) for their ice cream.

Sweet little Juju....oh how I love her haircut and and her sweet little cheeks!!

This is the best group shot we could get..the girls were just a tad bit hyper. Did you notice that both Sophia and juju have the same jackets! Gotta love Target. :)

Saying goodbye :(

When Sophia went back to school after winter break her school had patriotic day. I'm assuming patriotic day is in February because of president's day?? Not really sure but it was super cute. Here is the little peanut and her friend Amber dressed up in their outfits. Sophia was sooo excited to show me her shirt she said she painted it herself with stamps. :) After the classes paraded around in their different outfits they all came inside and sang patriotic songs like grand old flag and yankee doodle.

Sorry about the delay in posts I'm hoping to keep up better! :)
